SharePoint Item Permission Batch

SharePoint Item Permission Batch Tutorial:

SharePoint Item Permission Batch can add or remove permissions to each item in a list without changing the original permission settings.

Like this mini task system, each task can only be edited by the person to whom the task is assigned.

If Henry is the director of Jerry and Bill, he should be given permission to each item. The above request can be achieved by permission batch.

Click the Settings menu and choose list setting. In the list setting page, select permission batch settings.

Assign Henry Full Control and Read permission to all items.

The result after running permission batch.

If it is unnecessary to set unique permission to each item, click "Inherit Permission From List" button in permission batch page.

All items will inherit permission from parent list permission and custom permission will lose.

Note: Applying permission batch will disable SharePoint Permission Boost workflow:
